Optibelt Super KBX-POWER
High power kraftband – a new high performance
raw edge kraftband Optibelt successfully presented the new
generation of the raw edge V-belt “Optibelt Super X-POWER”
to the public.
Today, this belt is used all over the world. A further
innovation in this area is the Optibelt kraftband Super KBX-POWER.
Consequent further development of the production processes,
improved materials and the optimised moulded cogs are the
basis of this new belt quality. These kraftbands make
possible
space-saving designs and economic solutions, even with
extremely high drive requirements. Other advantages are the
use with small pulley diameters, high speeds and high
transmissions in connection with large centre distances.
Compared to the conventional Optibelt KBX kraftband, the new
Optibelt Super KBX-POWER offers a performance increase of up
to 15 percent and distinguishes itself by a limited
extensibility,
optimised running characteristics as well as excellent heat
and oil resistance. Due to its particularly low stretch
polyester cord, the Optibelt Super KBXPOWER is a low
maintenance kraftband.
A high performance transmission in connection with small
pulley diameters and high engine speeds make possible a
reduction in weight and space. These kraftbands are
used with up to 5 ribs or as a combination of sets.

Optibelt ALPHA linear ZS with lock connection
In various areas of transport and conveying technology, it is specified by
the manufacturers to clean the transport elements in regular
intervals
(e.g. medicinal products or unpacked food). The soiled belts
are partly cleaned with the help of high-pressure devices or
solvents.
For these service works, it is necessary to remove, clean and refit the
elements (timing belts) back into the machine. For the
opening and closing of the mostly long belts, this work
requires a lock connection that is easy to handle. Such
locks can be produced on the basis of the Optibelt ALPHA
linear ZS belts. The specialty is the handling and the fl
exibility concerning the belt width, lock length and number
of individual belt fi ngers, which are cut via water jets.
All these parameters can be determined by the customer.
Due to the simplicity of this connection, small quantities can be produced
cost-effectively. In order to guarantee the stability of the
locks adapted to the basic belt, these connectors start with
the tooth section AT10 and the smallest thread M3. Further
sizes, such as section H, T20 and AT20 are also available on
request.

of drive belts by measuring their frequency of vibration.
