Novebelt EHT CONVEYOR BELTS FOR THE
ALUMINUM EXTRUSION INDUSTRY
One of the areas where the high
temperature conveyor belts are used is also aluminum
extrusion industry. For this application we propose the
Novbelt EHT series of belts. The belt for this application
should resist very high temperature, as it is conveying the
aluminum profiles right after the extrusion. It is also very
important that the belt itself is an insulator, so that heat
does not go through it very quickly. That is necessary in
order to avoid black spots on the aluminum where it was
cooled down too quickly. The Konus Konex Novbelt EHT series
belts solve all of these problems as they are developed
especially for the aluminum extrusion. We offer several
different belts which are suited for the cooling down of the
profiles depending where the profiles are placed – where the
profile is still hot or where it already cooled down to the
temperatures bellow 200 degrees centigrade.
Depending on this the material for the conveying surface and
for the supporting scrim is used as :
• Para aramid
• Meta aramid
• Polyester
All of our Novbelt EHT conveyor belts are produced in the trully endless
form, so there is no joint in the belt. That means also no
irregularities on the surface or in the tracking of the
belts.
